Tell Me If It's Chilly Outside

If I was already forced to choose one word to describe how this year has gone, contemplation would be it. Seeing that word makes me think of progression and revelation but neither of those would characterize these past few months. I have been in a strong state of contemplation, just not in that way.
 
There has been no progression, just digression. There has been no revelation, just repetition.
 
I’ve been reflecting on my way of life a lot.
